Well, hello!

This is where we begin, I guess.

I'm a software development student and I will use this website to keep track of the new things I learn while I practice, but mostly because it's fun.

Here's just a tiiiny bit of my story:
It's early to mid 2000s and I was a very curious kid who taught myself HTML and CSS because blogs were trending at the time. That was my idea of fun when I was younger.
The years went by and for some reason I didn't think I was capable of doing it for a living, so I tried to pursue other interests and been all these years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life...
When around 3 years ago I realised I never should have stopped learning.
And now there's so much more to learn that it's overwhelming.

Recently I heard about the indie web movement and it caught my attention. As many people, I'm also extremely unhappy with what the internet has become.
All the social media bullshit and big tech taking over the world... Nowadays, at least for me, it feels so scary and hostile to share and be active on any social network out there.
The idea of having my personal space here as it used to be back then seems so right in this moment.
I'm still planning what features this website will have, but it will definitely have a blog page because there are lots of things I want to talk about here.
I will make changes to the layout as I produce new content.
